This song was popular back in the 70's, when it was originally sang by Bill Wither's, but when Club Nouveau, did a remake of it, the song climbed to #1, on the U.S. Charts.
I believe that it did well, mostly because they put their own spin on it, which was to amp up the beat, and to change the back round music, to sound more like reggae music, which originated from Jamaica, back in the 60's. This musical formula definitely was what this song needed for it to be able to climb up the billboard charts, back in the 80's, when the original music had more of a 70's milder sound to it.
I think that this song is worth listening to because it has an up beat sound, which will put you in a better mood, every time you listen to it. I hope that you will take the time to listen to this song again, because even though the video is not of high quality, the dancing parts are pretty cool, because it shows how people danced in earlier decades.

Where Do The Children Go?
This is one of my favorite songs from The Hooters. The lyrics are serious and thought provoking, with the soothing sounds of a ukelele. I also thought that the dark haired guy looked kind of hot at that time :), who cares what his name is LOL !!! Okay, his name is Eric Bazilian. He is much older now, so some of the hotness disappeared, but since I chose a video from the past, all is well...
Are you a fan of the Hooters, if so, what is your favorite song?
