I absolutely loved this song, "Sweet Child O' Mine", because I thought that the music, had just enough of a rock metal sound, so that the song didn't come off as, 'just another rock ballad.' It had the romantic lyrics of any rock ballad, but it also had edgy metal music, to go with it.
Are you still a fan of Guns N Roses, or did you stop liking them after they broke up, and started their own bands? Slash and Duff - the Velvet Revolver, and Axel Rose - the new Guns N Roses.

99 Red Balloons
This is a song from a German girl, with an awesome back up band, especially the blond guy, with the portable keyboard.
I know this song is about war, but I like this song more, for the way that the music sounds.
I was hard pressed to find a live video, for this song, with English lyrics, but I never gave up, and so, here it is, for your viewing pleasure. Feel free to sing along with it, oh wait, you might not be able to do that, because, if I recall correctly, the radio stations seemed to play the German version, more than they did the English version, so most Americans, who don't speak German, may not have heard the English version enough, to learn the lyrics.
Be sure to watch this video frequently, so that you can learn the English lyrics, if you don't already know them.

Rock Me Amadeus
This song hit #1, in the U.S., even though this song, didn't have an English version, that was done by Falco. Sadly, he died in 1998, from a bad car accident, when he was 40, before he could make a planned come back.
I think that his music sounded cool, because of the way, that he used an orchestra, to beef up the music. Kind of like the band ELO did, with their music.
I chose this particular video because, even though it is a live show, it includes portions of their music video, along with a guy, who sounds like Penn Jillette, doing the date thing, at the beginning of the song, which isn't included, in most of their online videos.
Were you one of the people, who helped to move this song, to the #1 position, on the U.S. Billboard music charts? If so, feel free to leave a comment, and tell me all about it.

Take On Me
When I first saw this video, back when MTV, still played music videos, before it morphed into a channel, which airs very few videos, which, I for one, had enjoyed watching, but anyways, with all that aside, I thought that A-ha had a really cool video, for their song, "Take on me." Plus I thought that the lead singer, and the guy on the keyboard (emphasis on the keyboard guy), were hot looking, at that time.
Ah Ha - Take On Me
Do you think this video is cool? If not, don't worry, your comment is still welcome here.

Sledge Hammer
This video, is one of the coolest videos, from the 80's. It won numerous awards, at the MTV music awards, in 1987, and set a new standard for art, in the music video industry. I especially like the part, where his head, is in front of a chalk board, and the roller coaster tracks are moving, and of course, everyone loves the dancing chickens.
What is your favorite part in this video? Leave me a comment and let me know.

Under Pressure
This song is one of the coolest 80's songs, that came from a 70's band. What can I say, Freddie was the best. His music touched many. His voice was phenomenal.
