Toy Soldiers

This song is actually a break up song, but I found myself liking it because I have been through a couple of sad break ups, which actually brought tears to my eyes. I had mistakenly believed that we were on the same page, when it came to our feelings for each other, when in reality, we were not.
I have come to the conclusion that we are put on this earth to live and learn through our mistakes, and that if we find ourselves in a relationship, where the love chemistry isn't really there, then we start to learn that there is no place for the relationship to go, except down hill, without it.
Being married to the wrong person for 21 years, turned out to be a devastating disaster for me and my children, because as the years went by, it slowly emerged that the ex and I had very little, if anything in common, which he had kept hidden from me, because my ex pretended to like the same things that I did, for a long time, but then one day he finally told me to turn down my head banging music, because he didn't like it. It wasn't even that bad really, but it helped me to see, what a farce of a marriage I had actually been experiencing. I chose to stick it out until my youngest child turned 18 regardless, by putting my feelings aside, so that I wouldn't have to put my two children through a court battle, which could have possibly been devastating for them to deal with.
With that said, I am happy to report that the current relationship I have been in, for a little over 5 years, has the right kind of love chemistry, and we really do like the same things as each other, so three cheers: WOO WHO! WOO WHO! WOO WHO! are in order.

Have you ever been in a relationship that didn't work out because one of you pretended to be like the other person?

Wishing Well

This song is one of the cool, different sounding songs, that came out, in the late 80's. I thought that Terence Trent D'Arby, was very refreshing to listen to.
When I first saw the video for this song, I was like, cool he can do the split, although I can imagine it would be a painful thing to do, when you are a guy, but since I am obviously, not a guy, I really wouldn't know for sure, if it does hurt.
Okay, enough about that. Enjoy the video.
